The National Assembly has passed the Finance Bill after a marathon session that stretched past midnight, with 178 members voting in favour and 92 against.
Key amendments included the removal of a proposed levy on mobile money transfers and a phased approach to fuel taxation.
Opposition leaders have vowed to challenge sections of the bill in court, arguing that public participation requirements were not adequately met.
The bill now heads to the President for assent.
